Baby Room and Care

BABY ROOM AND CARE OF GRANT VELA SHOOL

We work in an environment of nature and materials Pikler and Reggio Emilia and Montessori.

“The first three years of life are the most fundamental for the development of human beings and their potential”, María Montessori

The child

Children under the age of six have an extraordinary mental capacity to absorb the knowledge of their environment simply by living. This “absorbing mind” is most receptive during the first six years of age, when the personality is established.

METHOD GRANT VELA SHOOL

Provide the child with an out-of-home learning experience to foster independence.

The Method

The goal of this program is to provide the child with a cozy learning experience without parents to encourage independence and develop a positive attitude toward learning. This is an introduction to hands-on learning, where independence begins to develop through self-help skills, the experience of music and the expression of art every day and work within or outside the classroom routine.

GRANT VELA SHOOL

Improves knowledge, independence and confidence in children's abilities

Learning Areas

The programme not only improves children’s knowledge, independence and confidence in their abilities, but also paves the way for the rest of their lives. More than a classroom, it is an environment in which very young children experience their first structured contact with other children.

The Children’s Community programme lays the foundation for the Children’s House programme (3-6 years).
