Forest School

SCHOOL FOREST GRANT VELA SCHOOL

It allows them to explore, to develop their natural curiosity, within the wooded area of our wonderful terrains.

In our center we have a forest school learning process, a learning resource within the forested area of our wonderful lands.

The forest schools that first originated in Denmark continue to grow in popularity in the UK.

This exciting initiative benefits all of our children enormously as it allows them to explore, develop their natural curiosity through practical experiences, respecting and enjoying the natural environment that complements so well the British and creative spirit of our centre.

Children learn new skills, both within and outside the national English curriculum, while being taught to manage risk not normally found in mainstream schools; work together, building self-esteem and self-confidence and problem solving while engaging in a physical and social environment.
